Where should we stay?
Because this is a celebration for David's 50th Birthday, all guests are asked to stay at the host resort Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites. This ensures, that the group can share meals and drinks together or maybe even experiencing an excursion as a group. David has set aside a  block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at this resort and when you are ready, please make your reservation through our travel coordinator MarieSam.

When should we arrive?
You've traveled all this way, so you might as well make a vacation out of it and join us as early as possible. The room block is available from December 3 to 8, 2025. If you wish to arrive earlier or stay longer, just make the request with MarieSam and she will ask the resort if extending your dates is possible at the discounted rate. 

What do we do about transportation in Mexico?
Roundtrip airport transportation to and from Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites is included with your hotel stay via shuttle service. If you would like any private transfers or to plan an off-site excursion, please ask the travel coordinator MarieSam for information and assistance on that request. 

What is the weather like? What should we pack for our trip?
Riviera Maya, Mexico is typically warm and humid -- temperatures are usually in the high 80s to 90s. It is recommended that you bring light summer clothing and swimsuits. But also bring a light sweater for the evenings. Other helpful essentials include sunblock, mosquito repellent, water shoes, swim coverups, flip-flops, a light cap or hat, sunglasses, etc. Think beach vacation with beach chic attire for dinners as some restaurants will require closed toe shoes, slacks and shirts with short/long sleeves for men.
